Artifacts

Artifacts are one of the types of collectable items that are needed to complete the various collections in the museum. The other collectable is called an gem.

These items can potentially be found while exploring various planets. The player has a very small chance to dig up any collectable while digging the dirt on the planet's surface. Additionally, when the player breaks rocks while exploring, they have a small chance to get a meteorite. If the player uses the meteorite extractor to extract the item inside, they have a chance at getting a collectable item. The higher quality meteorite the higher chance the player has at discovering a collectable item. Each planet has their own meteorites, that drop the collectables from that planet. Meteorites can also come from missions or various vendors.
