To trigger this cinematic cutscene the player must have Stewart, CPU, Lauren, or Pilot at friend friendship status or higher. It can be triggered any day of the week.

CPU has not been faring well since you stopped your maintenance routines.

I fear he will not boot up at all one of these days.

Dates

The player must give Lauren a date invitation to trigger the date. This does not count towards the two gifts the player can give this character each week, and the player can only go on one date a week with a certain character, but can go on dates with other characters in that same week.

First Date

Cool spot, [PLAYER]. Nicely done.

This kind of reminds me of my younger days, always sneaking out to go on dates.

You could say... I was quite popular back then, but I used to get in all kinds of trouble.

Plus, I have the attention span of a goldfish so school was no picnic either.

For some reason Stewart always wanted to help me out with my studies and took the blame for me on more than one occasion.

He's probably the only reason I made it as far as I have in life. Haha.

Are you the brainiac type or a rebel like me?

PLAYER: I'm more academic.

Really? Smart people must be drawn to me because I look like I need the help or something!

PLAYER: I hate following rules.

I see. A fellow dare seeker... that explains a lot already. *gives you an interested look*

But eventually I finished school and ended up backpacking across the hills of the Pinwheel Galaxy eating nothing but stale bread and food rations.

I even got this wicked scar from falling into a sinkhole once. *shows you a long scar*

Do you like to go on wild outdoor adventures?

It's just so hard for me to stand still and be aboard this ship day in and day out.

PLAYER: Yes, I love exploring.

Obviously you do, or else why would you have signed up to be a captain for this crazy mission.

PLAYER: No, I like staying cozy at home.

Ugghhh, I don't know how people can just stay home all the time, but at least you're true to yourself.

So at least with you here things have been getting more exciting again.

*she pinches your cheeks hard and makes a goofy face at you*

But... I guess I should be getting going soon.

Second Date

[PLAYER], did you go to all this trouble just for me?

I've started to get the impression you like me or something. *winks*

This is different for me... getting to know someone like this.

Most of the time I bail when things in my life take a serious turn.

To be honest, I'm kind of surprised that I even made it through Space Alliance training without quitting.

Becoming a physical therapist wasn't my idea of course, but Stewart was really pushing me towards finding a career that I would stick with.

And once he recommended me for the position, I felt like he is the one person I couldn't let down.

Are you someone who does anything for people?

PLAYER: Definitely!

That is such a great quality. I guess I don't let people get close to me so I don't owe anyone anything.

PLAYER: It depends...

I totally get it. I'm not really the dependable type either, and I like to have zero ties.

But now there is a lot of pressure from Stewart and all of you depending on me every day.

I'm starting to get anxious to jump ship and hit the road again.

Know what I mean?

When I take a step back and really think about things, I do enjoy being a part of this crew more than anything else I have done.

PLAYER: Completely, I want to run away every day.

Haha, finally I've met someone who is as crazy as me.

PLAYER: Not really, I like to work through challenges.

Yeah, I can see that about you... and I guess being around you is rubbing off on me a little.

Plus watching you work so hard is inspiring me... Ugh! Why are you messing with my head?

So now what... do you think I should stick around?

I guess my loud playlists and space board tricks aren't going to stop anytime soon.

Besides, just having you here listening to me complain makes life more fun too.

You know, you always surprise me, [PLAYER].

Engagement

Once the player has achieved the prerequisites to get engaged they are able to give a  engagement ring to propose to Lauren. A small conversation between Lauren and the player happens, then CPU congratulates the player on their upcoming marriage, and gives the player additional details around the wedding ceremony.
