This page has the event information for Steven.
Friendship
Cinematics are triggered from different friendship levels, and can trigger when one or more characters reach a certain level, and the player enters the area of that scene.
Ghost Debate (1)
To trigger this cinematic cutscene the player must have Steven, Shinji, or Kendall at acquaintance friendship status or higher. It can be triggered any day of the week, and will begin when the player enters the cargo bay.
...I just don't believe it's a ghost or that this is some kind of haunted spaceship.
Any weird activity must have something to do with that relic down on the Grey Planet.
Soooo, some rock statue just magically took my stuff and walked off with it in the middle of the night?
And what about those noises from the lower decks?
There is 'something' on this ship besides us. You better believe it.
I hear you but... maybe you just misplaced those things.
And... it's an old ship. It just makes noises sometimes.
My grandma said ghosts aren't real, so it can't be a ghost.
You're just trying to scare us!
Fine, believe whatever you want, but I'm just saying you never know.
*makes scary face*...oooooOOOOOooooo...
Anyways, keep your eyes peeled. I'm outta here...
Ohhh! That Shinji is such a punk!
...I don't like spooky stuff, Bro...
I know... just try not to worry about it too much.
Ghost Debate (2)
To trigger this cinematic cutscene the player must have Steven, Shinji, or Kendall at friend friendship status or higher. It can be triggered any day of the week, and will begin when the player enters the cargo bay.
Bro, I'm scared... *shaking*
Maybe it's the ghost Shinji was talking about?!
I think maybe a box just fell over.
Or maybe it's just Shinji himself...
Is that you making all that noise?!
We know it's you Shinji... stop trying to scare us again.
Hey, hey, hey... what are you two shouting about down here?
I could hear you from the upper decks.
SHINJI? Tell the truth... weren't you hiding and making a bunch of noises just now?
What do you mean... I was upstairs.
Why... did you hear something spooky down here?
You can quit the act now...
We heard your 'ghost' messing about behind those boxes.
I don't know if it's a ghost or not...
...but we're not gonna be the ones to find out.
LET'S GET OUT OF HERE!
You don't have to tell us twice! HURRY!
*grabs Kendall*
Dates
The player must give Steven a date invitation to trigger the date. This does not count towards the two gifts the player can give this character each week, and the player can only go on one date a week with a certain character, but can go on dates with other characters in that same week.
First Date
This is just really nice. *looks at himself*
Oh sorry, I should have put on a nicer shirt...
*tucks in shirt with paint stains on it*
It's just that I'm usually the one setting up things like this and taking care of others.
I feel it's my responsibility to work hard and look after Kendall and my family.
PLAYER: Sure do.
Then you get it. You love them and you want to make sure they are taken care of.
PLAYER: Nope, I'm an only child.
Oh, you must have had a quiet childhood, but I hope you didn't get too lonely growing up.
Do you have siblings too?
My grandparents have also done so much for me over the years.
Did you know my grandpa is the one who helped me acquire my license as a machinist?
PLAYER: I had no idea.
He just started giving me small projects one day and I was hooked on the challenge of machinery.
PLAYER: I kind of assumed.
Yeah, I guess it runs in our family, but there is a lot more to being a machinist than you might think.
It's an extremely precise job that sometimes even requires fabricating designs to solve mechanical problems.
I had to study mathematics, metallics, and all types of machinery to pass my exams.
Do you have a mechanical brain?
The more I learn about machinery, the more I discover creative ways to restore things and bring life back to forgotten objects.
PLAYER: Yes, I pull everything apart to see how it works.
Isn't it fascinating? I love how everything in a machine has a specific purpose.
PLAYER: I've never really been interested.
Well just like machines, we're all wired differently. Haha. Sorry, was that pun too much?
I think we should care for the things we have and restoring objects not only preserves priceless memories, it helps reduce the waste clutter in the universe.
Do you think older objects are worth saving?
Funny, in a way you've kind of inspired me just now...
*takes out a pen and writes some notes right on his forearm*
I have this great idea for a new sculpture to showcase the people behind the machines.
PLAYER: Yes, they have so much charm.
Totally! Everything I work on has its own story and you get to become a part of that story.
PLAYER: No, I prefer to get shiny new things.
No offense, but how boring! You're missing out on such amazing craftsmanship. Don't worry, I'll win you over eventually if you stick with me.
It can be kind of a collaborative effort between the two of us if you want.
I have all kinds of motivation to work now, so I better take advantage and get busy.
I had a lot of fun today and I really enjoyed getting to know you better.
Thanks, [PLAYER]. I really hope we can do this again soon.
Second Date
You know, [PLAYER], I feel like we do just have a lot in common.
It's great we both make time to spend together.
Since we've gotten to know each other I wanted to ask you a question. Feel free to say no, but I hope you say yes.
Would you let me paint a portrait of you?
PLAYER: I'd be honored!
Yes? That's great! I have a really good idea for it...
PLAYER: I'm too shy.
Really? I promise to include you in all the details. Just hear me out first, OK?
Well, I want to paint two portraits actually...
The first one will be a picture of you just as you are now.
And the second one will be right next to it, but will be an abstract portrait of you, based on your personality.
Who knows, if it turns out great, maybe I'll do a whole series that showcases the external and internal portraits of people.
PLAYER: Sounds great!
I knew you would like it. I promise to do my best to capture you perfectly.
PLAYER: ...Eh... no.
Who put you in a bad mood? Well... I like a challenge, so challenge accepted grumpy.
Sometimes I think people overlook each other based on looks before digging deeper and really getting to know each other.
That is what I love about art. If you put yourself in the shoes of the artist you can gain a new perspective.
Now I just have to decide what medium to do it in.
I don't know how long it will take, but if you see me sneaking a peek at you from time to time just remember it's all for a good cause.
Well, maybe that isn't the only reason why I might look your way...
PLAYER: A colorful watercolor painting.
Yes, I agree color is the way to go. Your personality just wouldn't shine through without all the colors of the rainbow.
PLAYER: A black and white charcoal drawing.
Hmm... good idea. It can be a very serious and moody look, but I can see how that could really make a strong statement.
But you probably already knew my feelings were starting to get stronger.
*sigh* Is it time already to head our separate ways?
Well, thanks for letting me paint your portrait. I hope when it's finished you like it.
Third Date
Isn't it funny how easy it is together, [PLAYER]?
I feel like I fell for one of my best friends.
I think we still have some time left to hang out...
Marriage
Engagement
Once the player has achieved the prerequisites to get engaged they are able to give a engagement ring to propose to Steven. A small conversation between Steven and the player happens, then CPU congratulates the player on their upcoming marriage, and gives the player additional details around the wedding ceremony.
I don't know what to say!
I never know what to say in times like this...
But you know me so well I bet you already know exactly what I want to say...
...of course I'll marry you.
I can always just be myself around you and that's why I love you.
Oh boy, aren't you lovestruck!
...and let me be the first to say...
<size=12>CONGRATULATIONS!!!</size>
You really do make a great couple...I'm just so emotional about it all.
This calls for an extra big wedding celebration... full of flowers, good food, streamers, romance, oh and lots of dancing.
I'd be happy to perform the ceremony too... and I won't take no for an answer!
I'll schedule the ceremony in about a week's time.
We both better get moving, there is so much planning to do before the wedding...
. . .*runs task mode*. . .
