Iceladus is the fourth planet in the player's journey, situated between Desert Dunes and Lava Lakes. The planet's surface is a winter wonderland covered in snow and ice, creating a serene yet challenging environment. Upon landing, the player encounters Bunky, whose igloo has been damaged in the crash. The primary quest involves helping Bunky recover his winter supplies and finding a replacement anniversary gift in exchange for a cracked-but-glued-back-together relic piece. Once the main mission is completed, the player can recruit Bunky and his family, including his wife and two kids, to join their space adventure.

The landscape of Iceladus features vast expanses of snow-covered terrain, dotted with icy formations and clusters of evergreen trees. The air is crisp, and the ground glistens under the pale light of the distant sun and moons. Despite the frigid conditions, the planet exudes a tranquil beauty, making exploration a unique experience.

Resources

Each planet has a set of semi-unique resources that are available for the player to gather. Some planets common resources like the ore available to mine, while other resources are completely unique to that planet. Planets generally have one to two ores they can mine from rocks, an edible resource to help regain energy while exploring, a flower, and a unique gatherable item.

Seeds

The seeds at the General Store will change based on which planet the player is currently orbiting. The following can be purchased while orbiting this planet:

While exploring on Iceladus, the player may find Ice mixed seeds.png Ice mixed seeds. Most planets have mixed seeds that can be found and cannot be purchased. These seeds can be planted in a small planter and has a chance to sprout into any of the non-tree seeds of this planet.

The Igloo

Bunky's House is a cozy igloo situated amidst the snowy expanse of Iceladus. When the player first arrives, their ship crash-lands, causing significant damage to Bunky's home and crushing a pile of his supplies. The igloo, though small, serves as a warm haven against the biting cold outside. Surrounding the igloo are scattered remnants of supplies and personal items, partially buried in the snow. The area is also populated with various icy flora, adding a touch of natural beauty to the otherwise harsh environment.

Once Bunky leaves Iceladus, a woodland creature moves into the abandoned igloo.

Exploration

Main Article: Exploration.

Exploration is a planetary progression system where players embark on an adventure, landing and engaging in activities like digging in dirt or zapping rocks to reveal teleporters for advancing them to the next level, all while dodging (or eliminating) local creeps.

Every five levels, a checkpoint unlocks for convenient teleportation, which the player can access by interacting with their shuttle. At levels fifteen and thirty, unique rewards await players. Initially, players can only progress to level fifteen on their first visit to a planet. To unlock levels sixteen through thirty, players must find the appropriate relic piece from that planet, leave, and then return to continue their exploration and advancement.

Digging Drops

Players utilize a shovel to dig in the dirt, enhancing their digging capabilities through upgrades. By holding down the Mouse LMB.png left mouse button (or primary key), the player can charge the shovel to dig additional spots in a line. Each upgrade increases the number of extra spaces they can dig during this charged action.

Digging yields planet-specific drops such as gems, artifacts, and meteors, each offering unique loot opportunities based on the planet being explored.

Grass Drops

While the player is exploring the surface of Iceladus, they are able to use their laser blaster to shoot the grass for additional drops.
