The security officer quarters located on the plaza deck, south of Chip's Canteen. Initially, this building is run-down and secured with a giant padlock. To renovate it, the player must purchase an upgrade from the machine shop and wait three days for construction. Once the security quarters are built, Daxton can move in and become a crew member. The player can construct the quarters while completing the main mission on Lava Lakes. After finishing the main mission, Daxton will ask to join the crew. If the quarters are ready, the player needs to speak to him again to finalize him joining. If the quarters are not yet built, the player can return later to recruit Daxton once the quarters are completed even if they leave the planet and come back.

The player is able to enter his bedroom once they have gotten his room keycard, which will be given to the player upon reaching "friend" status.

Repair Costs:
The cost and materials to repair this building are  Credits × 3,000,  Scrap metal block × 25,  Titanium × 10, and  Hardware parts × 15. Once gathered, the player must bring them to the Machine shop, to begin this repair. This repair takes 3 days to complete.
