Trivia

• Early on in development, Soot was originally going to be hidden on the player's ship causing chaos and mischief. He was going to be breaking things, trying to build some sort of technology that he needed. The Developers felt this conflicted with the rest of the story and the flow of planet exploration, so it was changed to him being found on the Grey Planet instead.
