Root bacteria is a type of microbe that can be found on the player's ship while using a microbe detector. There are four types of microbes: good, bad, neutral, and wild, each having their own species of microbe to capture. It has 25 health and a straight line.

One of each microbe can be donated to Hermy's spectacular collectables museum.
