Feed repository is a machine which can be crafted by the player at the workbench. Each Feed repository placed, will allow the player to store an additional 250 plant material. The player is able to retrieve the plant material from the repository itself, or from a feeding bin inside of the xeno pods. If the player has an upgraded xeno habitat, the auto-feed automation will automatically pull from these repositories.
Building options:
Building options can be accessed by clicking the small blue control panel in the bottom right corner of this machine.
- Manage: Clicking Manage opens the 'Plant Material Pickup' setting. Players can select the desired amount to pickup when retrieving plant material from all feed repositories and feeding bins. Select between 1-100.
- Move: Clicking Move will not destroy this building, but will allow it to be moved to a different buildable place on the map. Canceling this operation leaves it where it was originally.
- Demolish: Clicking Demolish will destroy this building, meaning it will be removed from its position and left floating on the map. It can now be picked up and added back to your inventory. The combined plant material storage capacity will be reduced by 250, but the plant material itself will not be lost. Even if the amount of material is above the new storage capacity limit, it will remain.
