The player can pick up this mission by talking to Kaida, the day after landing on Lava Lakes. Kaida needs help obtaining specimens from the surface of Lava Lakes, and has requested that the captain bring her back some.

Crew missions are a series of missions the player can finish at their leisure. These quests often correlate to a primary mission, but do not need to complete them to progress with the main story line. These quests generally have a few tasks the player must complete before getting their reward. Most crew missions the player can pick up by talking with the associated character, after any prerequisites have been achieved. The NPC will appear with a marker above their head, letting the player know they have a mission to give out.

Overview

1. The day after the player arrives on Lava Lakes, they should find and speak to Kaida.
2. Kaida will give the player three tasks to complete the mission.
   1. Retrieve  titanium ore × 30 from breaking rocks on the planets surface with the laser blaster.
   2. Retrieve  Lava mushroom × 5 from Lava Lakes' surface. These items can be gathered by walking up to it and right clicking.
   3. Kill Spinner Creeps in the exploration levels, until the player obtains  Pirate hook × 2.
